SPRINGFIELD -- Sixth-ranked Richmond Hill piled up 500 yards of total offense and scored on its first six possessions to easily defeat Effingham County 45-14 on Friday night at Rebel Field.

Former Effingham County running back Ashaud Roberson finished with 123 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries while only playing the first half when the Wildcats built a 31-0 lead.

Kenyan Hunter, another former Rebel, scored a touchdown on a quarterback run in a wildcat offensive set.

RHHS quarterback Tyler Coleman threw touchdown passes of 44 and 66 yards to Jordan Clark.

ECHS (2-4, 1-1 Region 2-6A) got on the scoreboard in the third quarter when Miquel Allen stripped a receiver of the football and returned the fumble 85 yards for a score.

Isaiah Bell caught a 6-yard pass from Matthew Ford in the final minute for the final points.
