Christina Smith, a sixth grader at Effingham County Middle School, placed third in the WTOC St. Patrick’s Day Coloring Contest, competing against over fifth and sixth graders from seven counties.

The winner of the annual coloring contest gets to help “green” the fountain at Forsyth Park in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

Effingham College and Career Academy and its partner Savannah Technical College celebrated four students - Ben Bothwell, Caleb Coburn, Immanual Jackson and Alex Smith, who earned positions at Gulfstream Aerospace.

Effingham College and Career Academy (ECCA), in partnership with Savannah Technical College, hosted a signing ceremony today to honor four graduating students who have completed the Gulfstream Aviation Pathway and officially signed employment agreements with Gulfstream Aerospace.
