South Effingham Middle School held a "Hoops for Heart" event on Nov. 17. Approximately 212 students participated in the event which was coordinated by the Connection Team of teachers. The group collected $525, which was donated to the American Heart Association.

Effingham College and Career Academy and its partner Savannah Technical College celebrated four students - Ben Bothwell, Caleb Coburn, Immanual Jackson and Alex Smith, who earned positions at Gulfstream Aerospace.

Effingham College and Career Academy (ECCA), in partnership with Savannah Technical College, hosted a signing ceremony today to honor four graduating students who have completed the Gulfstream Aviation Pathway and officially signed employment agreements with Gulfstream Aerospace.
