Plans are under way for what organizers hope will become the first annual ECHS Girls’ Night.

This event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on March 20 in the Effingham County High School cafeteria. Area businesses are being provided table space to advertise and/or showcase their wares for the donation of a door prize to be given away during Girls’ Night.

The evening will feature a fashion show of formal wear provided by Ever After and entertainment by some of ECHS’ own talent.

The grand finale will be at 7 when participants will hear from guest speaker Dawn Baker, WTOC-TV news anchor and author of “Dawn’s Daughter.”
