Aquene Leilani Martinez, Addie Exley Road, Rincon – willful obstruction of law enforcement officer.

Jarod Goldwire, Andrews Lane, Springfield – public drunkenness.

Tyler Pleasant, Hwy. 21/12th Street, Rincon – citation issued for driving with suspended registration and no insurance.

Jennifer Victoria Booth, Paddleford Drive, Rincon – DUI, possession and use of drug-related objects.

Jacob Benford, Hwy. 21/Wallace Drive, Springfield – Failure to maintain lane, DUI.

Jennifer L. Hunter, McCall Road/Blue Jay Road, Rincon – Speeding in excess of posted speed limit (73 mph in 45 mph zone); DUI, failure to yield to emergency vehicle.

Sharon Nicole Oliver, Anderson Road, Guyton – Bicycle equipment required (no lights); riding bicycle on wrong side of the road; obstructing or hindering law enforcement officer.

Crystal Riner, Hwy. 119, Guyton – DUI, driving too fast for conditions.

Incidents

Cottage Way, Springfield – a woman reported she was receiving threatening texts from her son’s girlfriend’s mother. She had called Savannah PD for a welfare check on her son and was awaiting their response.

River Oak Drive, Bloomingdale – a woman reported she was bit by a pit bull that belonged to the residence where she was delivering an amazon package. The dog is current on its rabies vaccinations and has been quarantined.

Sir Arthur Court, Guyton – a woman reported that a man who agreed to buy a vehicle from her had falsified a title for the vehicle even though he had not finished paying for it.

Crestview Drive, Guyton – a woman reported that an unknown male had broken the front gate to a gated community. Damage to the gate was estimated at $1,170.00.

Charleton Road, Rincon – a woman reported that her firearm may have been stolen during a party at her house last summer. She stated that she didn’t report the theft until she had a serial number of the firearm – Smith & Wesson model 442, #CWF7069.

Effingham Hospital – Deputies responded to a woman who reported a dog bite. She was unsure of the dog owner’s address and of the dog’s rabies’ vaccination status.

Mountain Holly Road, Springfield – A woman reported that she and her boyfriend had had a heated argument over her drinking. The man said he wanted to leave for the night and take their child with him.

Loblolly Court, Rincon – a woman reported she had an argument with her boyfriend and he had her phone. She alleged the boyfriend had withdrawn money from her bank account that he said she owed him to pay bills.

Hawthorne Drive, Guyton – a man reported that two dogs had entered his property and allegedly killed two egg-laying hens and possibly injured a rooster. He shot at the dogs to scare them away. The owner of the dogs is unknown.

Old Augusta Road, Rincon – the superintendent of a business reported that one of the storage facilities on the property had been broken into and several tools and equipment were missing. The value of the alleged stolen items was estimated at $11,219. He needed a police report for insurance purposes.

Shearouse Road, Guyton – deputies responded to a domestic dispute between a man and a woman who said they could not trust each other.

Myrtlewood Court, Guyton – a man and a woman reported that their neighbor yells profanities at them every time they are doing yard work or small controlled burns in their own yard. This is an alleged ongoing issue. The couple was advised on how to obtain a temporary protection order against the neighbor.

Mclaws Road, Guyton – a woman reported that an unknown person in a truck was discharging a firearm.

Aspen Drive, Rincon – a man reported that his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend was threatening him.

Amsonia Circle, Guyton – a man reported that his video surveillance system showed three unknown persons attempting to enter his vehicles in the middle of the night. The vehicles were locked and no damage was observed.

Amsonia Circle, Guyton – a second man reported that his unlocked vehicle was entered and several items were missing, including a tan-colored Glock 43X #BWLM939, a black wallet containing his South Carolina driver’s license, a debit card, and his pipefitter’s union ID card.

Majestic Drive, Guyton – a man reported that an unknown person allegedly entered his vehicle and took his wallet. The man stated there were credit cards in the wallet, but he was unsure of how many and the issuing inistitutions.

Amsonia Circle, Guyton – a woman reported that her husband’s work bag was observed in the yard across the street. Upon further inspection, the man stated that several items belonging to his employer (Great Dane Trailers) were missing from the bag, including a laptop and motherboard. He admitted that his vehicle had been left unlocked.

Lupine Street, Guyton – a woman reported that the 2024 Nissan Altima (Florida tag #KUCX28) she had rented from Enterprise, had been stolen.

Loblolly Court, Guyton – a man stated that he and his live-in girlfriend had an argument, but had calmed down and were working things out.

Effingham Hospital – a woman reported that a pit bull she was fostering had attacked her dachshund. When she picked up the dachshund to take it to the vet, the dachshund bit her. Both dogs are current on their rabies vaccines.

ECSO lobby – a woman reported she was receiving threats via text and social media from her ex-husband.

Chapel Park Road, Guyton – a man reported that an unknown person allegedly broke into his vehicle and stole the following items: M & P Shield .45 pistol, 1,000 rounds of .22 ammunition, and three boxes of shotgun target load shells. Items are valued at $653.00.
