EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A full slate of Christmas events is planned across Effingham County this weekend, but cold, rainy weather may force families to rethink plans or shift to indoor activities. A strong chance of rain is expected Friday night and again Saturday, with temperatures staying on the chilly side throughout both days.
Weather Outlook
Rincon and Springfield are expected to see steady rain and colder temperatures Friday night, Dec. 5, and throughout Saturday, Dec. 6. Event organizers encourage attendees to dress warmly, pack rain gear, and take advantage of indoor options when available.
