SAVANNAH -- The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) announces the 16th Annual Night of Champions and Hiring Expo set for Thursday, May 1, from 6-9:30 p.m. The gala event will be at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel. Cocktail hour and Hiring Expo begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony.
The Night of Champions recognizes businesses that provide meaningful employment to differently abled adults, including those with Down syndrome, and celebrates the impactful contributions of these employees in the workplace. The event also features a Hiring Expo, where companies with job opportunities for differently abled individuals will connect with potential candidates.
The evening highlights success stories from recognized businesses and their employees while providing attendees with insight into the benefits of inclusive hiring. Guests will also have the opportunity to network, explore job opportunities, and enjoy the inspiring stories of past Champions.
For the 16th Annual Night of Champions, the Hiring Expo will be held during the cocktail hour from 6-7 p.m., allowing guests to mix and mingle with previous Champions and connect with future advocates for inclusion.
