Locust Grove defeated visiting South Effingham 4-3 and 7-0 Tuesday to oust the Lady Mustangs from the Class AAAAA tournament in the first round.
South Effingham, which led the opening game 3-2 heading into the final frame, finished with a 13-20 record.
