GUYTON, Ga. — Calvary Day sank 11 3-pointers — eight of them in the second half — to pull away from South Effingham for a 76-48 win Friday in the Mustangs’ home opener.
SEHS (1-3) was led by junior guard Michael Hall with 18 points, while Marcus Campbell added nine.
The Mustangs cut a 16-point deficit to 49-43 on Hall’s free throws with 7:02 remaining, but they made only two field goals the rest of the way as the Cavaliers closed on a decisive 20-1 run.
