Armstrong State University will host two open house events for prospective students and their parents.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet professors, talk with current students, tour campus, see first-year housing, learn about financial aid, and participate in specially-designed sessions.

Armstrong is even offering same-day admission to students. This event is free and open to the public.

The Pirate Previews will be held Oct. 4 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and Nov. 1 from 1-4 p.m.

Armstrong will be offering same-day admission to students who submit their application no later than the Monday prior to the event. In order to receive the same-day admissions benefit, students will need to bring an official copy of their high school transcript (signed and sealed) to the event. SAT or ACT scores must be reported on the transcript or sent separately by ACT or SAT in order to receive a decision at the event.

Armstrong will provide free transportation for the Nov. 1 Pirate Preview from the Atlanta, Macon and Augusta areas. Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a guidance counselor. Central locations within each of the cities will be designated for pickup.
