Students at Covenant Christian Academy are looking forward to a different kind of book fair this year. The school, in its third year, has traditionally held a book fair in the spring. Headmaster Martin Wilkins commented on the new direction the school has chosen for this activity.

“We are excited to offer an Usborne Book Fair this year,” he said. “The quality of the books is more in line with our classical curriculum. Parents are also looking to supplement their children’s curriculum with educational books and those that foster strong family values. Students can’t seem to get enough of these books.”

As part of its book week celebration, CCA will host the Usborne book fair during the week of March 3–7 in the school cafeteria. Home-school groups, preschool moms and other lovers of books are invited to attend the fair.

It will be open to the public each day from 1-2:30 p.m. The school asks that purchases are made on a cash basis only. Appointments are not necessary.

Covenant Christian is proud to partner with Usborne to offer families great books that provide a fun avenue for children to discover the joy of reading.

CCA is an independent, classical, Christian school offering pre-K-ninth grade for 2008-2009. It is located on the campus of Life Baptist Church, 1541 Highway 21 south of Springfield and four miles north of Rincon.

The school is now enrolling for fall 2008.
