The Effingham County Middle School varsity/competition cheerleaders recently held a uniform drive to collect “gently used” uniforms. The uniforms were given to the school counselors to distribute as needed.

As part of the 2008-09 cheer season the cheerleaders are not only focusing on their sport but also giving back to their community.

The squad consists of: Mallory Ansel, Kelley Badger, Taylor Burns, Meaghan Crowley, Caitlyn Fears, Cassidy Henry, Jamia Johnson, Mallory Long, Callie Martin, Sara Mondello, Caroline Neidlinger, Harley Porter, Hunter Porter, Mandy Roberts and Jessica Woods. They are coached by Jamie Terry and Tina Williams.
