GHFCU congratulates scholarship winners

The winners of the 2012 Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union college scholarships were congratulated by the GHFCU board of directors at their May board meeting.


South Effingham High School senior Andrew Rushing won a $1,000 scholarship. The son of William P. and Suzanne Rushing of Guyton, Andrew will attend Georgia Institute of Technology to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering.


Chelsea Riddle of Savannah is the recipient of the $1,000 scholarship for a continuing education student. A former 2010 GHFCU scholarship recipient, Chelsea is a full-time teacher at Bethesda Academy. She is pursuing her graduate degree in the field of communication sciences and disorders at the University of South Carolina.


Georgia Heritage FCU is located in Savannah and is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Chatham, Effingham and Bryan counties.
