The all-Effingham Model UN team for placed second at the University of Georgia’s Model UN Conference Feb 1-3.

The combined team from Effingham County High and South Effingham High earned the Distinguished Delegation award among small delegations. In addition, SEHS students Autumn Lamb and Sydney Cowart took home third place in the United Nations Environmental Program committee representing Algeria.

Brian Holt from ECHS and Kristen Denney from SEHS, along with bus driver Barbara Pabst and ECHS alum (‘07) Lizzy Pabst, accompanied the team to Athens.
