Scouts and leaders from Troop 665 in Rincon along with Dan Frailey and James McElveen from First Baptist Church Rincon are pictured on the wheelchair ramp they built at First Baptist Church Youth Center.

The construction of the wheelchair ramp was the project of Taylor Ross who is working toward his Eagle Scout Badge. Troop 665 is sponsored by Rincon Methodist Church and is under the leadership of Ken Luikart.

The trail to Eagle Scout requires a Life Scout to plan, develop and give leadership to others in a community service project. A scout demonstrates his leadership abilities through planning the work, organizing personnel and materials needed, and directing the project through to completion. Eagle Scout projects must be submitted and approved by the Troop leader, Troop Committee and the Scout District Council.
