ACS memorial service to be held Sunday

The annual Effingham County American Cancer Society memorial and honor service will be held Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Board of Education auditorium at 405 N. Ash St. in Springfield.
 
Five new plaques will be dedicated for display on the Memorial Board in Effingham Hospital. Plaques come from donations as memorial or honor gifts.  
 
An honor plaque will be dedicated to Tina J. Crapse. The following people, along with their memorial plaques, will be remembered during the service: Thomas J. “Tommy” Bragg, Jennifer Lynn Ford, Amelia S. Myers and Miriam L. “Peggy” B. Tuten.
