Alzheimer's Association to host 'Docs and Desserts'

The Alzheimer’s Association–Coastal Georgia regional office will present a “Docs and Desserts” program on May 8 at the JEA located at 5111 Abercorn St.  

This program is designed to give people with questions regarding Alzheimer’s disease and dementia an open forum to ask those questions of an expert in the field.

This “Docs and Desserts” will focus on research. This program will begin at 6:30 p.m.; late arrival is discouraged.  

The event will feature Dr. Shirley Poduslo, Ph.D., director of DNA Bank and Alzheimer’s Research, Professor, Institute of Molecular Medicine and Genetics, Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
