The Hospice Savannah Art Gallery is proud to present the paintings of Jill Brougher and photographs by Kate Greene during July and August.
Meet the artists at their opening reception on July 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The Hospice Savannah Art Gallery is located at Hospice House, 1352 Eisenhower Dr.

Brougher graduated with a BFA from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1988. She has had several group and solo shows in Pennsylvania and Florida and is currently represented by the Watson MacRae Gallery in Sanibel, Fla. Her mixed media paintings are lyrical abstractions of invented plant and animal forms suspended in tidal ebbs and flows. They refer to a place of regeneration and growth, beyond the sense of sight. Brougher says her intention is to create work that honors nature’s ability to evolve and transform itself.

Greene’s abstract painting and photography is a natural progression from her fascination with computer graphic design. She took art instruction at Northern Virginia Community College and the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia in the late 90s, and relocated to Savannah in fall 2005. An active member of the Landings Art Association, Greene is represented locally by Chroma Gallery.

As always, a portion of sales will benefit Hospice Savannah, Inc.
