STATESBORO — Cool off with a night of laughter, a complicated love triangle, and slapstick humor with Georgia Southern University’s (GSU) performance of “The Fan.”

GSU’s Theatre Program presents Carlo Goldini’s classic Italian farce in the new Black Box Theatre located in the Center for Art and Theatre.
Performances are June 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. each evening.

“The Fan” is a non-stop comedy of misunderstood trysts, jealous lovers, and sarcastic servants.

Directed by Lisa Abbott, “The Fan” is being performed and produced by the GSU Rehearsal and Performance class.

“It’s hilarious. When we’re rehearsing, Professor Abbott has to keep telling me to stop laughing because I just laugh all of the time and disturb rehearsal,” said Melody Dunning, a student involved in the show.

Admission is free; however, seating is limited. To reserve tickets, call the Black Box Office at (912) 478-5379.
