The Effingham County Fair will be held from Oct. 22-27 at the Springfield Fairgrounds. The fair starts with the annual parade on Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m. from Tuesday through Thursday. They will open at 3 p.m. that Friday and at 1 p.m. on the fair’s final day.
