Effingham County was full of patriotism over the Independence Day weekend. Friday kicked off with Rincon's Star Spangled Spectacular in the Lowe's parking lot. Then Saturday morning was the Rincon Fourth of July Parade. Saturday night, thousands showed up as Springfield blasted off its spirit with an explosive fireworks show at Effingham County High School.
