These were the children of Lewis W. Rahn married first Feb. 27, 1867, to Emily Dasher (d. 1902) and then married to Sarah (Helmly) Smilie. Rahn and his second wife had no children. From left to right, seated, are: Sophie (Rahn) Grovenstein, Addie (Rahn) Helmly, Emma (Rahn) Helmly and Irene (Rahn) Kessler; standing: Lydia (Rahn) Futrelle, Victor Rahn, Stacy Rahn, Claudie Rahn, Lavina (Rahn) McLeod, Israel Rahn, Furman Putman Rahn, Angus Backman Kessler and Ada Rahn.
