SAVANNAH — Two area businesses, The Savannah Mall and Fountains’N’Such,  will donate the proceeds from their fountains to Goodwill Industries in recognition of National Disability Awareness Month.

Savannah Mall features two fountains which are located on the lower level at  center court. The fountain fund donation expands on the collaboration with Savannah Mall and Goodwill Industries. Savannah Mall offers donors and supporters of Goodwill Industries the opportunity to donate at the Attended Donation Center  on site behind Burlington Coat Factory.

Fountains’N’Such, at  1650 East Victory Dr., has a large courtyard with a fountain in the center called “The  Fountain of Blessing.” Fountains’n'Such will match the proceeds from the fountain.

The Fountain Funds complements the Goodwill focused theme for 2008-2009  (DONOR) which honors all Goodwill donors, whether it be DONORS donating clothing, furniture, household items, cars, computers, etc., DONORS shopping in the 14 thrift stores, DONORS volunteering their time, DONORS making financial contributions, DONORS participating in fundraising efforts, DONORS partnering  with Goodwill and DONORS promoting the Goodwill name and mission.

Visit Savannah Mall and Fountains’N’such, toss in your spare change and support the mission of Goodwill Industries which is to assist people with disabilities and other employment barriers to live independently and become employed. The Fountain Funds Promotion ends Oct. 31. Individuals or businesses wishing to present a  check for Fountain Funds promotion should ask for Senea Crystal at Savannah Mall and Bill Peterson at Fountains’N’Such.
