GeorgiaCares to make Savannah stop

GeorgiaCares State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) counselors will be at Moses Jackson Golden Age Center in Savannah on Jan. 17 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. discussing the topic, ‘Understanding Medicare Advantage Plans.’

GeorgiaCares counselors answer questions regarding Medicare benefits, identifying health care fraud and abuse, obtaining low-cost prescription medications and lifelong planning. Jan. 1 marks the beginning of the Medicare Advantage Plan Annual Enrollment Period and continues until March 31.

The general public is invited to attend. All services are free.
