THE INTERWEBS — June is a big month for movies in the theaters, but there are also some great picks that are headed to Netflix this month that are totally worth your time.

Netflix will add over 50 new titles in June, but some are definitely better than others. Don’t worry, we’ve done you a favor and found some of the best ones for you.

Clear and Present Danger
Starting June 1, 2014, the Harrison Ford thriller “Clear and Present Danger” began streaming on Netflix, and we’re all better for it.

The movie is based on the Tom Clancy character Jack Ryan as he’s drawn into an illegal war being fought between the U.S. and a Colombian drug cartel.

The movie is full of action and intrigue and is one of the best entries in the Jack Ryan catalogue.

“Clear and Present Danger” has a 100 percent worth-your time rating on OK.com with an age rating of 14+.

Rudy
It’s almost impossible to see the name Rudy and not immediately start chanting, “Rudy, Rudy, Rudy.”

The 1993 sports classic became available to stream on Netflix on June 1, 2014, and odds are it’s already been watched over and over again.

The movie is inspiring, touching and intensely enjoyable.

There are a few warnings that come with this suggestion, however. It will probably make your cry like a small child. Yeah, this movie has that effect. Also, if you’re a college football fan you’ll love the movie, but it will make you long for some gridiron action, which is still months away. That’s a tough spot to be in.

“Rudy” has a 100 percent worth-your-time rating on OK.com with an age rating of 7+.

Sherlock: Season 3
The BBC series “Sherlock” is arguably the best adaptation of Sherlock Holmes to date and it is one of the most-clever, fun and smart television series ever made.

The series is a modern-day take on Sherlock Holmes and his many adventures with Dr. John Watson.

The third season of “Sherlock” started streaming on Netflix on June 2, 2014, and if you haven’t seen it yet, get on it.
If you have, then you’re probably like me and you’re looking forward to watching it again.

If you haven’t seen any of the episodes, then we forgive you, but you have some catching up to do. Seasons one and two are also streaming on Netflix, so you’ve got your weekend cut out for you.

World War Z
Audiences weren’t sure what to expect when they walked into the theater to see “World War Z” in 2013. Stories of rewrites, reshoots and budget concerns caused hesitancy with moviegoers, but all that was put to rest when we finally saw the finished product.

“World War Z” was smart, interesting, exciting and at times scary. The film follows Gerry Lane — Brad Pitt — as he spans the globe trying to find a cure for a zombie pandemic that may destroy humanity.

Calling this a zombie movie would be a mistake. It’s an international thriller where zombies are the threat and not a nuclear weapon.

If you never got a chance to see “World War Z,” you’re in luck. The movie starts streaming on Netflix June 13, 2014. If you have seen it, then you’ll probably want to watch it again.

“World War Z” has an age rating of 14+ on OK.com with a worth-your-time rating of 88 percent.
