On Thursday, Disney unveiled the trailer for its next live-action film, Tomorrowland. The movie, set to open on May 22, stars Academy Award winner George Clooney, Britt Robertson (Under the Dome) and Hugh Laurie (House, M.D.).

The trailer shows the adventures of a family as they explore a futuristic land, or parallel universe. Specifically, it explores the relationship between a father (Clooney) and daughter (Robertson) in the high tech and heavily advanced environment, Tomorrowland," which has long-lasting impacts on their everyday lives.

Many may recognize Tomorrowland as the pioneering society on display at Disneyland theme parks. Like Disney projects Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion, this is another example of Disney using its park attractions to provide family friendly films.
