As the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine continue seemingly unabated, the Ebola virus has been relentlessly spreading across western Africa. While there is currently no cure for the hemorrhagic fever caused by the virus, the accompanying infographic shows what scientists have learned so far about its process and even a possible solution.

In fact, Fox News reports that two Americans who contracted the virus were recently treated with an experimental drug in an Atlanta hospital. There is currently no word on what the experimental serum contains, but doctors hope that they are on the right path to stopping the devastation the virus has caused.
