The bond of a mother to her daughter is generally strong, but this particular relationship is warming millions of hearts on social media.

In a video posted to Facebook by Ellen DeGeneres, a 4-year-old girl named McKenna lovingly sings Martina McBride's song "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" to her mother, Dianna, who has cancer.

The video has amassed 25 million views since DeGeneres posted it Monday.

McKenna's mother can be seen mouthing the song's lyrics as her daughter sings. The two embrace at the conclusion of the performance.

Dianna was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin lymphoma in December 2013, according to a comment posted below the video by Dee Silvernail, Dianna's mother.

"My granddaughter sings the song to her every day," Silvernail told Inside Edition.

Martina McBride enjoyed McKenna's rendition of her song and shared the video on Twitter.

"I love this too! So touching. And she can sing!"
