Whitney Miller, the first winner of the Fox TV reality cooking show, “MasterChef,” will speak Sunday at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Miller will give her testimony on how her faith sustained her through the competition, and how she has maintained her faith in a secular TV environment. She also has some interesting cooking tips.

A native of Poplarville, Miss., where current First Baptist Church of Rincon pastor Dr. Bob Rogers was her pastor, Miller will be doing a book signing of her new cookbook, “Modern Hospitality,” at Barnes & Noble in the Savannah Mall on Saturday.
