At the Living History Site in Springfield, folks were getting into the Christmas spirit at the Olde Fashioned Christmas event Saturday, Dec. 4.

The Springfield United Methodist Church handbell choir performed. Children sang Christmas carols and told Santa Claus their Christmas wishes.

And a tree lighting set the evening off, as other guest roasted marshmallows by a fire.
