There was a raffle held at the Kroger in Rincon Saturday morning to support Jacob Harper.

Evelyn Davis said she has knows the family through church. She helped to organize the event.

“Woodmen of the World bought the quilt,” she said. “One hundred percent of the profit goes to the family.”

Harper had brain surgery in July to help control his seizures.

During the surgery, doctors removed a portion of his brain where his seizures were coming from but were unable to remove the other source of the seizures.

Melissa Harper, Jacob’s mom, said he will return to school Tuesday.
