The Sunrise Rotary Club of Effingham presented a check for $1,000 for the Effingham Unit of the YMCA of Coastal Georgia to Kim Dennis, Effingham Y executive director. The Sunrise Rotary Club meets at the Guyton Christian Church Center, 105 3rd St. in Guyton, Tuesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. More information is available on their Web site, www.effinghamrotary.org.
