Placeholder Image

Plans are coming together for the Georgia Cotton Commission’s 3rd Annual Meeting on Jan. 27 at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center, to be held in conjunction with the commission co-sponsored Georgia Cotton Production Workshop.

These two programs will provide a full day of learning for Georgia’s cotton producers and provide a chance to learn how their check-off dollars work for them. They will hear from researchers, industry leadership and can visit with industry supply representatives.

Free registration is from Dec. 1 through Jan. 18 online at www.ugatiftonconference.org or by phone (229) 386-3416. Early registration will help the Georgia Cotton Commission get a count for the sponsored breakfast, break and lunch.

The conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. Workshop concurrent sessions are from 8-9:50 a.m. and the commission’s annual meeting program is from 10:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m., followed by lunch. The afternoon workshop sessions are from 1:30-3:40 p.m.

Annual meeting questions may be directed to: Richey Seaton (gactn@windstream.net) or Karen Nikitopoulos (cotton@windstream.net) at the Georgia Cotton Commission office (478) 988-4235.
