Berry's attorneys to seek continuance

A former Rincon police chief whose appeal of his termination was scheduled to be heard Monday night will be asking city council for a continuance.

Michael Berry, who was terminated in September after six months on the job, had emergency gall bladder surgery early Wednesday afternoon. His attorney, Keith Barber, will be asking the city for a continuance of his appeal hearing.
