The Effingham Chamber of Commerce announces the next Lunch ’n Learn opportunity. State tourism representative Carey Ferrara, will speak on building a tourism program for the lunch meeting.
The meeting will be held at New Ebenezer Retreat Center at noon on Nov. 16. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn what the community can do to expand and build on Effingham County’s tourism base.
Effingham was first settled in 1734, a year after Gen. James Oglethorpe landed at Savannah. The meal will be a traditional turkey dinner and the cost is $15.
