“As the Effingham community has grown, so too has the Herald, and it has steadfastly chronicled the county’s progress over the years. As the community readies for another ascension and another wave of prosperity, the Herald will be well positioned to relate the stories of Effingham and its people in a number of different platforms,” said McGlamery. “As Effingham grows, so too has and will the Herald, from beyond being simply a newspaper to becoming a multi-facted, multimedia information outlet.”
“We are proud of the Effingham Herald and the role is continues to play in the life of Effingham County,” said Morris. “Under Karen’s leadership, the Herald has tried to be a supportive, positive influence on the community.”
