Spine and Sport backs FORCE food drive

In response to a call to action put out by Food Outreach Co-op of Effingham (FORCE), a not for profit organization that collects non-perishable items for area food pantries in Effingham County, Spine and Sport will have a week-long food drive at its Rincon office, beginning Nov. 3.

Spine and Sport encourages everyone in the community to pull together and bring in anything that they can to help out with this situation facing the food pantries that serve those in need in our very own community.

“One of the things that makes this community great ... is its generous and caring people. With everyone’s help we believe we can make it through this difficult time,” said Bonnie Dixon, director for the United Way Service Center.

The items needed the most are non-perishable food items, grocery gift cards and cash donations. Spine and Sport is located on the corner of Highway 21 and Goshen. Receive a free physical therapy consultation with any donation.
