Moon River Studios, Inc., has announced the appointment of Aubrey Storie as executive assistant to the chief executive officer.

Storie will be responsible for providing upper management support to CEO Jake Shapiro and the executive management team.

Prior to joining Moon River Studios, Storie was employed as a business manager for Keller Williams Realty and as an executive assistant for the regional directors with Verizon.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the Moon River Studios team, especially during this exciting and extremely positive transition,” said Storie. “Jake is a very focused, driven and personable CEO; I’m proud to be supporting Jake and Moon River Studio’s mission to make films in the wonderful Effingham County community.”

“Aubrey has a keen focus and strong business acumen. We were fortunate to find someone with her skills right here in the area,” said Shapiro. “She is a great team player who brings a wealth of experience and has quickly become an integral member of the organization.”

Storie earned an undergraduate degree in pre-medicine at Armstrong State University in Savannah and was an original founder of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority on Armstrong’s campus.

The native of Kansas City, Kan., tutors undergraduates in biology and math and enjoys golf, kite boarding and bike riding in her leisure time.
