Rincon City Council members have paid an honor to a volunteer firefighter who is on the mend after suffering a stroke.

On behalf of the city council, Mayor Ken Lee presented James Tomlinson with a rolling toolbox. Tomlinson has been with the Rincon Fire Department for nearly six years.

“We appreciate you, James, and the service to our city and to our volunteer fire department,” Mayor Ken Lee said. “We stand with you and wish you the very best in your recovery.”
