Dead fish along Ogeechee River prompt caution

Effingham County Emergency Management Agency is advising caution around the Ogeechee River. The EPD, DNR and Auburn University are investigating a handful of dead fish around the Highways 301 and 24 crossover.

Anyone observing dead fish in the Ogeechee River is encouraged to call the Effingham County Emergency Management Agency at 754-8200 or email at eema@effinghamcounty.org.
