Students from South Effingham High School, Effingham County High School, Effingham County Middle School, South Effingham Middle School and Ebenezer Middle School competed in the FFA Poultry Judging Career Development event in Eastman on Feb. 28. The ECHS junior and senior teams placed first and advanced to the state competition at UGA on March 23-24. Deena Diaz from ECHS was the Junior High Individual and Anna Fulcher from ECHS was the Senior High Individual. SEMS placed seconnd in Area IV competition and will be competing at the state competition as well.
