Edwards Interiors was honored last week at the 2017 Governor’s Awards Luncheon at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park by being nominated for Mid-Sized Manufacturer of the Year.

Edwards Interiors is located in Rincon and is the second-largest employer in Effingham County. The business has been in operation for 18 years and has resided at its current location (125 Entrepreneur Way) for 10 years.

In its 18 years of operation, the company has seen its staff grow to 220 employees. Those employees have been known to participate in numerous community events and school programs along with partnering with the community in support initiatives.

Numerous employees have stated that they feel like a part of the Edwards family and that it is not just work, it’s an extension of home.

Edwards Interiors has come a long way in its operation, from starting with a single employee in a backyard shop to operating with hundreds of employees.

The company has made a tremendous impact to Effingham County and the nomination of Mid-Sized Manufacturer of the Year is a testament to that.

At the ceremony were employees of Edwards Interiors: Brad Griffin (Chief Operating Officer), Trey Dewitt (Manager-Engineering), Gary Munn (Manager-Production), Michieline Forth (Manager-Chemical Line), Miranda Donlon (Production Assembly Tech), Shaw Bennett (Materials), Chad Seckinger (CNC Machine Lead), Amanda Sansone (Special Projects/Material Planner) and Matt Stromquist (Planning Manager).
