For the second year in a row, Effingham County Farm Bureau was awarded as the District 7 Agency of the Year. This honor recognizes all of the staff’s hard work and dedication serving the county and their members. The award is presented to the large agency that excels in their district in overall sales performance.

Carter Boyd is the agency manager; Kirk Rahn and Jonathan Hathaway are agents who are part of the sales team.

“We really appreciate our customers for allowing us to handle their insurance for them,” Boyd said. “If it were not for them and the rest of our office staff, this would not be possible.”

Becky Fields is the office manager and Cheryl Tyre is the secretary.

“Carter and his team are an asset to the organization and work hard to provide exceptional service to the citizens in and around Effingham County,” said Bill Olliff, sales manager for Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company. “Carter, Kirk and Jonathan make the time to understand their member’s situation, to identify gaps in coverage and provide reasonable solutions.”

Said GFB county president Stuart Exley: “We are proud of our team and this represents a team effort at our office. Our staff is committed to helping protect our members with all they value in their insurance needs and being a voice for Georgia’s agriculture.”
