The Most Fabulous people in Effingham County dressed up and turned out under the bright lights at the Mars Theatre in Springfield Wednesday evening as they were honored at the Most Fabulous Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Effingham Herald and Effingham Living Magazine.

Dozens of local businesses, business owners and citizens were honored after a county-wide vote was cast to decide the winners of each category.

Those who were to receive their award(s) showed up the Mars Theatre Wednesday evening and were treated to catered appetizers and drinks before the ceremony was to begin.

Kim Dennis, General Manager of the Effingham Herald, emceed the event and called out the names of the Most Fabulous recipients while Angye Morrison, Editor for Effingham Living Magazine, presented the plaques and posed for photos with each winner.
