Elected officials discuss issues over breakfast

RINCON -- Effingham County business leaders, school officials and interested citizens were served a few morsels of information with their breakfast during Wednesday's Legislative Eggs and Issues 2017 at Effingham College and Career Academy. State Reps. Bill Hitchens and Jon Burns, and state Sen. Jack Hill broached several topics, including agriculture, transportation, education and salaries for local law enforcement.
