At its meeting on July 20, the Exchange Club of Effingham County met Brad Carr, the new Executive Director of the Effingham Chamber of Commerce, who spoke about the goals for the Chamber.

The Chamber is working on events and programs that benefit membership.

It will continue to provide training and educational opportunities for the business community to include “Lunch and Learn” and leadership development.

Brad is pictured with Yvette Carr, Exchange Club President. The Exchange Club meets at the Renasant Bank in Springfield for lunch, fellowship and to enjoy great programs.

The next meeting is scheduled for Aug. 17 at 12 p.m. Ms. Erin Woodcock, Social Worker for Effingham Schools, will be speaking about the Foster Care program in Georgia.
