RINCON -- The Josh Reddick Foundation Concert at Freedom Park on Jan. 27 is sure to end with a bang.

For the first time, the fourth annual charity event will feature fireworks.

"I've been with the concert since its second year," Josh Reddick Foundation President Trey Saxon said. "We always try to learn something from year to year about how to make it better. Everybody loves fireworks."

Country music star Chris Janson is the concert headliner. His "Fix a Drink" and "Buy Me a Boat" were chart toppers.

Special concert guests include Trea Landon, Brian Fuller, Lyn Avenue's CC Witt and Daniel Navarro.

In addition to music, the park will be filled with inflatables for children and an assortment of vendors of interest for all ages.

"We try to have something for everybody," Saxon said.

Beer will be available for purchase for those 21 and older.

The gates will open at 3 p.m. but Saxon urged concert-goers to begin seeking parking spots at 2 p.m. He said the concert will conclude at approximately 10 p.m.

Advance ticket prices are $30 (ages 13 & up) and $20 (ages 6-12). A VIP pit pass can be purchased for $50, which is good for backstage access.

Onthe day of the concert, tickets prices will be $40 (13 & up), $25 (6-12) and $60 (VIP pass).

Tickets are available at Lovett's in Rincon, Boots Unlimited in Pooler and Thompson's Sporting Goods in Savannah and Gnat's Landing in Statesboro. They can also be obtained at etix.com (extra charges apply).

The foundation, started by local World Series champion Josh Reddick of the Houston Astros, uses concert proceeds to support local schools and agencies.
