Food pantry receives Georgia Power donation

Employees from Georgia Power’s Generation team in Savannah came together this holiday season and donated 700 pounds of food to God’s Mission House Food Pantry in Effingham County.

Donations included canned goods, dry snacks, cereal and macaroni and cheese boxes. God’s Mission House is housed at the First Baptist Church of Springfield and serves the residents of Effingham County and surrounding communities.
