Fun Run generates more than $21,000 for Mini Mustangs

GUYTON -- Every South Effingham Elementary School student shined in a big way Thursday. The Mini Mustangs sported glow-in-the-dark necklaces and/or wristbands while participating in the school's third annual Fun Run, a PTO fundraiser, in their school's dark gym. The event, featuring an encouraging emcee and lively music, had generated $21,009 as of 8:22 a.m. The goal was $20,000.
