The city of Guyton held its third annual ice cream social June 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. on the walking trail, with six churns of homemade ice cream. Pearl Boynes, chair of the Historic Preservation Commission, brought a new peanut butter flavor. There also were two peach ice creams, along with lemon, vanilla and a pineapple-orange sherbet.
